Prepare first, use a light touch, and understand when to skip it.

Learn before using the timer

A timer can organize a familiar technique but cannot check your pressure or position. If you are unsure how to use the tool, ask a qualified practitioner for a demonstration. Pinko offers an introductory facial sequence, not a treatment protocol or the deeper body techniques sometimes called gua sha.

Check suitability and preparation

Use a clean, intact tool and a familiar skin product that allows it to move comfortably. Skip irritated, injured or swollen areas. If you have a medical condition, take blood-thinning medication or recently had a procedure, ask your clinician whether facial massage is appropriate before trying it.

Use the sequence as a reminder

Our builder separates left and right sides and includes transition pauses. Choose Cheeks for a shorter set of actions or Full face for cheek and lower-face steps. Read each instruction and keep the tool’s contact light. Lift to reset between outward passes rather than repeatedly rubbing back and forth. Stop for discomfort.

Finish without chasing redness

Completing every pass is not the goal. End when you have had enough, put the tool away clean and notice how comfortable your skin feels. Do not intensify the session to create a visible change. The linked clinical overview describes important limitations in the evidence; a temporary visual difference is not proof of permanent sculpting.

Sources and method

The linked sources inform the background and limitations. Pinko’s timing and routine organization are editorial choices, not clinically tested protocols.
