Planning a seven-day self-care routine

A flexible week for trying short sessions, rest and reflection.

Set a process goal for the week

Choose a goal such as learning the controls, finding a comfortable time of day or deciding whether you enjoy a short routine. Seven days is a planning window, not a claim about rejuvenation. There is no need to photograph your face or promise yourself a physical result by the weekend.

Days one to three: get familiar

On day one, read the beginner guide and preview a three-minute sequence. On day two, try it if comfortable and note any step you want to skip. On day three, either repeat the small version or rest. The plan deliberately leaves room for an ordinary schedule rather than adding time every day.

Days four to six: choose what fits

On day four, decide whether the same cue still works. Day five can be another three-minute session; choose five minutes only if you actually want more time. Make day six a rest or review day. Do not add equipment, stronger pressure or new products simply because the calendar has advanced.

Day seven: keep, change or stop

Ask three questions: Was it comfortable? Was starting easy? Would I like to do it again? Keep the smallest version that fits, change the cue or stop without treating that as failure. Our saved routine stores your preferences on this device; it is not a medical progress record. A longer research program cannot predict a one-week result.
